Who we are and what we do

We're passionate about supporting people with mental illness. We, like everyone else, are aware of the pressures on the mental health service and the health service as a whole. We aim to do what we can to help anyone suffering with a mental illness, by providing as much information as we can about services, contact numbers, helpful documents and fact sheets and also providing a listening ear.

Just Me, I Am Me was created in August 2016 by Geoff who ran it alone until March 2017 when Georgia joined the team. Together, Geoff and Georgia manage this website and corresponding social media sites.

After needing more help and support, Geoff and Georgia sought to find a group of volunteers to help with all aspects of running the website and social media accounts. We're very lucky to have developed an ever-growing diverse range of people who give up their time to help us. Some of our volunteers are at university studying mental health degrees, others have experienced mental health issues first hand and some of our volunteers have an interest in providing help and support to mental health sufferers.
